Vicki Neiswander was kind enough to invite me on her radio program Disability Beat on WEFT 90.1 here in Champaign-Urbana. The never ending line of storms knocked out their transmitter and our interview had to be taped instead of going live. Vicki sent me the link and she plans to air the interview as well. It went better then I expected. I was very nervous in the beginning but finally relaxed as we moved through the process. Thank goodness it’s radio cause 6:30 in the morning aint pretty.
I explain Larkin’s Place and how we got to this point and where we are going. Enjoy the listen here.
Vicki is great and I love her show, but I admit it is early for me too. You did a wonderful job! I still get nervous on the radio so I understand, but you sound great and it was very informative.
