Six is the second smallest composite number, its proper divisors being 1, 2 and 3.
Since six equals the sum of these proper divisors ~
Six is the smallest perfect number
Six years ago today I gave birth to a beautiful little girl and we named her
Larkin Murphy Armstrong
Larkin was my grandfathers first name and Murphy was his last
His nickname was Paddy and all of my life I heard about him from my grandmother Violet until she passed
I am filled with emotion about this day and the swing goes high to low and back to the high
I want to bottle time. Stop it now with her sweet little face never changing
I want to see where her life is 20 years from now
I want it all
I want her safe and loved when I am gone
I want this little girl to always have her hair washed with the shampoo and conditioner that makes it shine and smell so sweet each night of her life
I want this little girl to hear the songs she loves each night of her life
I want it all
Watching the years go by so fast
From there October 4 2005 to here in 2011 the smallest perfect number ~ 6 ~ has pulled me alongside dragging me at times pushing me to know what perfection truly means loving unconditionally and giving me faith hope love and the capacity to grow as a human being
Robert Frost said it best in
“The Road Not Taken”
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
I want to give back to 6, the smallest perfect number, all that she has given me
Happy birthday to my beautiful amazing little Larkin
Thank you for
Teaching me how to live a life of purpose
Leading me down the road not taken
What being a mother & caregiver truly is
And the fragility of it all
